Description

Made from the original 150 year-old vines—of which just 800 remain—this wine is made only in the best years. The 2012 is a heady mélange of blue and purple fruits, raspberry leaf, beets, coffee and wet leaves. The medium-bodied palate is approachable now with its silky, sexy tannins, plush fruit and a complex, superlong finish, but this will age beautifully for many years to come. Drink now–2027.
