Description

Winemaker: David Nieuwoudt. There’s a sweet edge on the nose of this ripe, lush wine, with brambly berry, raspberry sauce and vanilla-soaked cherry tones that initially abound. There’s a solid underlying note of crushed purple florals and violets as well. The palate is similarly smooth and plush, with an easygoing nature that leads to a peppery finish with good lift and energy, beautifully countering the wine’s inherent richness.
